Salvadori

3-fire gilding

"Gold and glass together are a special combination. Making these objects by hand is part of an ancient Murano tradition. "

Franco Salvadori is a master glassmaker, specializing in the decorative technique known as the 'tre foghi', or 'three fires' typical of the Venetian tradition of Murano glass. His father Antonio also worked with glass: the artisan company that Franco heads as the second generation is in fact still in his father's name. The glassware works made here are of high quality, made one by one, strictly by hand, blown and finely hand-painted with flowers protruding on the surface to give a unique craft effect. The result is, in fact, a glass product with enamels made of glass powder and 21 carat gold.
