"Know-how is the essential element to my work"

Since 1988, Bottega Orafa ABC has been offering its customers personalized jewelery made from refined materials with harmonious shapes and attention to wearability. Each piece is unique and original, the result of the creative flair of the master goldsmith Andrea D'Agostino who combines traditional techniques, such as the "Etruscan granulation", as well as the more innovative "Mokume Gane", which in Japanese means "wood grain", applied expertly in beautiful wedding rings. This process allows the creation of a sheet of precious metal which has veins similar to that of sectioned wood and starts from the union in a single block of 15/17 sheets of different gold alloys: 18 kt yellow gold, 14 kt white gold with palladium, 14 kt red gold, and/or .925 silver. The union between these plates is not achieved by soldering but through the use of a measured pressure and heat. The produced block is then subjected to a complex process to obtain the desired style. Andrea D'Agostino’s work combines complex craftsmanship techniques and innovative design, giving the jewelry an elegant and refined style, never trivial, which he also makes available through various courses in goldsmithing.
