The Astore experience began in 1929, in Padua, when Pietro Bertacco founded one of the first Venetian companies in the leather goods sector. Right from the start, Pietro demonstrated his craftsmanship by passionately creating leather bags with a unique style and in line with the taste and fashion of the time. His son Mario continued the path traced by his father, strengthened by Pietro's experiences and teachings. The headquarters of the business moved to the province of Venice, where it is still located today. Mario gives new vitality to his bags taking care of every detail, researching new raw materials, studying the leathers and tanning. Today they are Roberto and Pierpaolo who continue the family artisan tradition as designers. Astore manufactures its articles with traditional artisanal processes by selecting leathers derived from the food industry. Through the processes of the tanning industry, the leather is recycled and ennobled, thus becoming a precious material. Handcrafted bags, wallets, belts and footwear for men and women are designed and made by Venetian master craftsmen who create made in Italy products with classic methods of the great tradition of leather goods.
