The company Ferro Lorenzo is an artisan company specialized in glassware founded in 2000 but with a previous twenty years’ experience in the processing of this material. It produces, strictly by hand or mouth blown, a wide range of objects such as favors, gifts, tableware, and lighting, sometimes decorated with the use of gold or silver leaf, murine, and avventurine. In addition to this production, since 2011, the year in which he took over the company Ferro e Cimenotto operating since 1963, he has been producing bas-reliefs, objects outside the artistic standards of Murano that are mainly inspired by historical Venetian symbols and sacred art. After the initial phase of drawing and elaboration of the model, the bas-reliefs really take shape in the furnace in Murano, using materials and techniques used on the island, and are then completed with the decorations: customized writings or logos, enamels and other precious materials. The irregularities present in each piece guarantee its handcrafted execution and uniqueness, a precious characteristic on the market of personalized and commemorative objects.
