"For me Venice emerges, it oozes from the walls when you walk, it seems to be manifesting itself for you in that moment, and through my creations I wish to share these emotions."
For over thirty years Martina Purisiol has been working as a ceramist, strongly connected to the city of Venice, which has led her to collaborate with many artists, always looking for new solutions and stimuli. In her shop-workshop, the artisan creates necklaces inspired by the natural geometry of shells that combine the geometry of Gothic architecture with a reference to water that is very important for the city of Venice. Among other creations is the so-called 'faces of Venice', furnishing accessories that incorporate a human face which represents the city itself; ceramic clocks to measure time that become furniture; ceramic plates and tiles always with a common reference to the lagoon city. Finally, he creates crests and 'oselle' also on order in ceramic, wood, and Murano glass. He has participated in numerous competitions including Campo dei Bochaleri for the best wine goblet.
