"Frogs, grasshoppers, beetles and many other more or less colorful insects. Here is a passion that, combined with the working of glass and the commitment to protect and enhance it, is the synthesis of the work of young Emanuel Toffolo."
When Emanuel Toffolo was born in Murano in 1982, he was already surrounded by the art of glass, coming from a line of famous glassmakers. After graduating from art school in Venice, he began to develop a passion for working with lampwork glass. Thanks to his interest in natural subjects, in particular in the world of invertebrates, he concentrated his work on the reproduction of different types of insects in glass. In addition to his artisanal work, Emanuel Toffolo has been directing documentaries on glass for a few years and, with his siblings Elia and Caterina, founded the InMurano association, created to spread the knowledge of the artistic and artisanal reality of the Murano district.
