Lucia Santini was born in Murano to a family that has been producing glass for 600 years. She learned from her mother and grandmother how to paint it and from her father how to forge it using the lampworking technique. After working at renowned furnaces and workshops in Murano, specializing in the Venetian technique of painting on glass, she was able to develop her own personal style, deciding to set up her own business but continuing to collaborate with the master Lucio Bubacco and his brother Emilio Santini. Her artistic creations include blown glass miniatures, enamel and gold decorations on glass as well as blown glass necklaces.
