The story begins with Alessandro’s great-grandfather, Ubaldo Costantini, and his grandfather, Cleto Costantini. As a child, Alessandro spent countless hours in the historic company of his grandfather, fascinated by the craft. Recognizing his grandson's enthusiasm, Cleto began to teach him the intricate steps and secrets of glassmaking. This early mentorship was further refined through formal education at the State Institute of Art in Venice, where Alessandro specialized in glass and graduated with a Master of Applied Art.
Today, Alessandro’s atelier reverberates with history and creativity. The production at Costantini Glassbeads spans a wide array of items, from traditional Venetian beads produced with ancient techniques to contemporary lampwork beads. The collection includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, fashion accessories, and even furnishings like lampshades. Each piece elegantly marries historical craft with modern design.
