Ca' Beltà, a name that embodies authenticity, goodness, and beauty, was founded in January 2020 in Venice by Lidia Bashynska and Olena Palamarchuk.
Lidia, born in Russia and raised in Ukraine, has always shown a creative streak, despite her parents' efforts to guide her toward a more pragmatic path. After moving to Italy, she kept her passion for creativity alive until she became a designer. Olena, also creative from a young age, followed a more linear path in the world of fashion. After experiencing work-related disappointment in Italy, she rediscovered her passion and completed her training as a designer.
In 2018, Lidia and Olena opened their Venetian atelier, producing bespoke women's clothing. Each piece is created from the initial sketch to the final finishing touches in their atelier and tailoring shop in Venice, using natural materials of the highest quality. The fabrics are carefully selected from local Venetian producers, with a strong focus on environmental responsibility and sustainability.
Thanks to their empathy and ability to form genuine friendships with clients, they understand that the main motivations for creating custom clothing are authenticity, the protection of health and well-being, and personal expression through subjective beauty.
Their atelier near the Rialto Bridge is a place of intimacy and serenity, accessible only by appointment, designed to ensure a mindful shopping experience. The showroom is located at Corte dei Pali, 3808, and is open during business hours.
Ca' Beltà’s tailoring does not follow current fashion trends but draws inspiration from stories and traditions encountered over time, creating a unique blend of styles. The production is personalized, envisioning the woman who will wear the piece and focusing on the emotional reaction it should evoke. Each model is carefully developed, with drawings and prototypes personally tried on to ensure comfort and beauty, always maintaining a special uniqueness through variations in color, fabric, and details.
Lidiya and Olena's commitment and dedication also led to the creation of Style in Venice, a school of tailoring and modeling established in Venice in 2018, leveraging their extensive experience in the field. The program is structured in various teaching units, beginning with modeling lessons and moving on to garment construction, providing students with a practical understanding of how to create their designs. The schedule is flexible, and an initial kit containing everything needed to get started is provided.
Each module includes a masterclass led by an expert instructor to delve into specific topics and address any questions. The course has a limited number of participants to ensure adequate support for each student. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate for their acquired sewing skills. The knowledge offered is not limited to women's clothing but also includes patterns for men and children.
Ca' Beltà aims not only to provide exclusive garments but to create pieces that resonate with women's hearts, promoting authenticity and beauty. For the founders, Lidia and Olena, work is their passion for creating harmony between materials and shapes, based on the belief that ""beauty will save the world."" They believe that when a woman is in perfect harmony with her clothing, she becomes more authentic, contributing to the transformation of the world into a better place governed by goodness, beauty, and authenticity.
We invite you to visit the showroom, where you will find a collection of ready-to-wear clothing, or to schedule an appointment in their atelier by contacting them directly.
