Our trench coat, a style icon, is named after Dogaressa Grimelda, the Hungarian princess who ruled Venice in the early 1000s.
This garment combines classic trench features with modern functionality. Double-breasted, with a wide lapel typical of jackets, it has a lining in a vibrant fuchsia pink that perfectly matches the jewelled buttons in Murano glass created by artist Alessandra Gardin of the Kirumakata brand, positioned in place of the buttons on the military epaulettes.
Large capacity slanted pockets and a knotted belt give the trench coat a timeless elegance.
In addition to the fabric flap on the breastplate, the classic back cape transforms into an integrated basque to create a sleek and refined silhouette. Inevitable is the slit at the back and the sleeve straps.
