The Venice Original E-commerce platform promotes the work and products of Venetian artisans, selected according to the guidelines defined by the Scientific Committee to guarantee quality. The artisan producers sell directly to the end customer, issuing their own invoice. Venice Original E-commerce, managed by the company Veneziana E-commerce s.r.l., with registered office in via della Pila 3/b in Marghera (VE), VAT number: 0461250271, pec: venezianaecommercesrl@legalmail.it, also guarantees the relationship with the courier for the delivery of the product and assistance service.

Guarantees and product pricing

  1.1 On www.veniceoriginal.it we offer products solely from artisans selected in accordance with the project guidelines, which can be found in the appropriate section of the site.

  1.2 The essential characteristics of the products are presented on www.veniceoriginal.it within each product page. The products offered for sale may not correspond exactly to the color images due to the Internet browser and monitor used; also remember that each piece is made by hand and not in series and therefore may differ slightly from the photo.

  1.3 Check the final sale price before submitting the relative order form.

  1.4 All Products sold by veniceoriginal.it will be delivered in their original packaging. In the case of clothing, when trying on the products you must not damage the original packaging if you wish to return the purchased product.

If a product has alleged manufacturing defects, you must immediately contact our Customer Service by email: info@veniceoriginal.it

  1.5 The legal warranties provided for by the Consumer Code apply to the sale of products by the Seller.

  1.6 In the event that you request the repair or replacement of the product due to lack of conformity, the shipping costs for the return of the product to be repaired or replaced shall be borne by the Seller, as well as any expenses related to the delivery to the customer of the repaired or replacement product.

2. Shipping and delivery of products

  2.1 The purchased products will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer in the order.

  2.2. In case of payment by bank transfer, deliveries will be sent once the transfer is received in the Seller’s bank account.

  2.3. The Seller will invoice the purchased products by paper document, email, or mail in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The invoice will be based on the information provided by the customer when placing the order. No changes to the invoice are possible after the invoice has been issued.

  2.4. Delivery charges are the customer's responsibility and are indicated on the order form and invoice.

  2.5 Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, indicated in the order form. If not shown, duties will be paid directly to the courier upon delivery.

  2.6. Upon delivery of purchased products by the Courier, you (or your designee) are required to verify:

(i) that the number of items being delivered corresponds to the number indicated on the delivery note; and

(ii) that the packaging and its seals are intact, undamaged, not wet or altered in any way.

 2.7 Any damage to the packaging and/or product, or discrepancies in the number of items or documentation must be immediately reported in writing on the Courier's delivery note. Once you have signed the Courier's document and without any objection being raised by you, you will not be able to make any objection on the external characteristics of the delivered package.

4. Consumer rights and cooldown period, returns, and refunds

  4.1 If you are a Consumer, you may cancel your contract with the Vendor in relation to products purchased from www.veniceoriginal.it without any penalty and without specifying the reason by notifying the Vendor in writing within fourteen (14) calendar days, starting from the day on which you received the products. In this case you will receive a refund for the price of the products.

  4.2 You must return the products to the Seller within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date you notified the Seller of your cancellation, in the same condition in which you received them and shipped at your own expense. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.

  4.3 To return products:

- they must not have been used or damaged;

- they must be returned in their original packaging, which is an integral part of the products;

- they must be returned to the Seller within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date you notified us of your decision to cancel the purchase.

  4.4 Return Exceptions. Many of the items sold on www.veniceoriginal.it are made specifically for you after you place your order. No returns or exchanges will be accepted on the following items, exceptions are noted on each product page. For example, sales of the following items are considered final:

- Personalized items

- Custom-made items

- Vintage items

- Fine jewelry

5. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

  5.1 These General Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law and in particular by Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005 on distance contracts (Consumer Code) - in particular \"Chapter I, Title III of Part III - and by Legislative Decree No. 70 of 9 April 2003 on certain aspects relating to electronic commerce.

6. Modifications and updates

The General Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time due to new laws and regulations or for other reasons. The new General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be effective as of the date of publication on www.veniceoriginal.it and shall therefore apply to orders placed after such date.
